What’s your career background, in brief?
I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2016 and went to work in London for a fieldwork agency. I worked there for two and a half years before joining Whiteoaks as a Junior Account Executive.
What’s the most challenging job you’ve ever had?
When I was in college, I had a part time job at my local farm shop. They sold meats, cheeses and vegetables I’d never even heard of! Trying to direct someone to the kohlrabi and give serving suggestions is not easy when you’ve never heard of, let alone eaten a kohlrabi before.
What apps, technology items and gadgets can’t you live without?
One piece of tech I couldn’t live without has to be my iPad. I use it for everything from home workouts and watching my favourite TV shows, to all-important online clothes shopping!
What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
If you believe you can, you’re halfway there.
Name one thing about your job that gives you a sense of satisfaction or makes you leave the office / log off smiling…
Nothing beats seeing that piece of coverage come through for a client that you and your team have worked so hard to secure!
Do you personalise your workspace?
I don’t, but I do love a list. I will always have a to do list for the day and a list of any meetings to keep me organised and on top of everything.
What’s the first thing you do when you start work in the morning?
I’ll make myself a green tea and have a quick catch up with the team before going through my emails and checking anything which has come in overnight.
What are you reading, watching or listening to at the moment?
I’ve just started watching Selling Sunset. I’m a bit late to the party I know, but I’m hooked.
